Back for another post. WHY DOES MY TITLE COME UP IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE???? Okay today is April 16th and I'm still 10% away from my body fat goal. I've worked out 4 of the last 6 days and my diet isn't there yet. Need more $$ for grocery shopping, but not giving up. Stay tuned!! James

Hello again. I just returned from the gym and I'm very tempted as I think more about it in making that video jumping rope and throwing it up on You Tube and linking it to this blog. I'm still out of shape and the gains have been slow. also in fairness I've come to realize that I should post a photo of how I look now. OK, I'm not CRAZY over weight. in fact I probably wont even change (or lose) any weight. Just shift it. I weigh about 183lbs as I write this. Stick around and I'll have a jump roping video coming soon. ~Peace

It's time to go to the gym today.
It's 4:15pm and I haven't worked out in two days. I'm still cleansing my body. I still don't look the way I want to look so I still have a ways to go, but Hey. It's only the end of February and a lOOONG way to spring.(Comparatively)So This post is to check in and motivate be to leave the house and go to the gym. I'll post a photo of what I looked like a year ago. This is NOT what I look like now although I weigh the same. I'm still debating on posting a before picture.
Guys I appreciate you taking an interest in the blog and I want to emphasize that I'm writing this for the sake of letting you know out there that your not alone in your efforts if your on a weight loss program. It's tough! Don't let thin folks tell you differently. I'm also considering posting a you tube video of jumping rope in my back yard. Maybe putting some cool music to it. Here's the DEAL!
Here we are a little more than half the way through February and as I'm typing this I'm about as F-F-Fat as I ever was through all of 2007! OK. I'm forty. I'll be forty one in July. My Girlfriend is twenty seven and her and I BOTH have had WAY too many late night
Fat-Filled nacho cheese dip escapades in front of the DVR library. Not to mention way too many drive-by's that should have been "stop in's" passing the gym.
We are both usually respectably thin in our own rights and can hold our own at poolside affairs come hot weather, which isn't all that far away, but as I sit typing this I wouldn't dare accept an invitation to an outdoor, swimsuit mandatory cookout!
Soooooooooooo, I figure I have one of two choices. Either cultivate a blog that exchanges top internet excuses for not being able to attend summer gatherings OR get down to business and start hitting the cardio, detox and JUST STOP buying all those absolutely gorgeous dips and toppings that got me in this mess IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
I'm currently in the beginning stages of the detox, which you can learn more about by clicking below. I HIGHLY recommend this as part of a "getting ready for summer" weight loss package and I DO mean package. We have to cover all our bases so we can BARE all our skin in a few months. I'll be getting into the exercise part on this in upcoming posts. As well as posting a photo or two of where I was at this time last year. AAAH the good old days......And don't worry, I'll spare you the before shots of me as I look now.
